"My husband and I were married in Spring 2016, and I was the recipient of a beautiful diamond wedding band. I adored it, but working in retail, in a rather dusty shop to boot!, it wasn't the most practical ring for every day wear.
We decided it would become my eternity ring, and we'd find an equally lovely but slightly more understated alternative as my worn-everyday-forever wedding ring.
I happened upon Arabel Lebrusan through the wonders of Google, and was immediately smitten with the Scrolls Engraved Wedding Ring. I loved the colour and lustre of the 18ct gold, and the beauty of the hand engraving on such a delicate band. With the option of having our names and wedding date engraved inside - it was love at first sight!
I contacted Arabel and had a delightful exchange of emails with the ever-so helpful Kim. I'd decided on the 2 mm wide band, in yellow 18ct, but would it be recycled or fairtrade gold? As a hopeless romantic, I decided to have the ring made from recycled gold. The idea that I might be wearing a tiny piece of someone else's story was irresistable!
Once the order was placed, Kim kept me updated with progress, from casting, to engraving, hall marking to polishing. We'd agreed a despatch date, and all I had to do was wait ...
actually gasped when I opened the box and saw my beautiful ring nestling inside. The intricacy of the engraving, the delicate script with our names and wedding date, the sparkle and shine - it was everything I'd hope it would be - and far, far more. I was enchanted, and quite emotional - I actually shed a tear! I rang Kim straight away to let her know it had arrived safely, and how very happy I was.
A few days later, in our brand new home, and with a glass of something sparkling to hand, my beloved husband slipped the ring on my wedding finger. And that's where it will stay - forever, and ever."
